What is the Private Vocal Assessment?
The Private Vocal Assessment is an 60-minute diagnostic session where Wira analyzes your voice, identifies the key technical limitations affecting your range, tone, and consistency, and provides targeted exercises along with a clear roadmap for improvement.
Is the Vocal Assessment open to everyone?
The assessment is open to serious singers who want to improve their voice. Because coaching spots are limited, ongoing mentorship is offered only to singers who are a strong fit for the program.
Do you offer online lessons?
Yes. All sessions are conducted online through Zoom, allowing singers from anywhere in the world to train with Wira.
Do you offer in-person lessons?
All coaching is currently conducted online via Zoom, allowing singers from anywhere in the world to train with Wira. This ensures consistent scheduling, flexible access, and the ability to work with committed singers globally, regardless of location.
How much does your coaching program cost?
Details of the coaching program, including pricing, are shared during the Vocal Assessment for singers who are a strong fit. The coaching program is personalized and offered by invitation only.
What level of singers do you work with?
Wira works with singers at all levels, from beginners to experienced performers. The most important factor is not your current ability, but your commitment to learning and improving your voice through consistent practice.
What makes your coaching different?
Playful Voice Studios combines modern vocal science with structured technical training to identify and correct the exact limitations in your voice. Through skillful play and targeted exercises, lessons remain engaging while delivering precise and measurable progress.
How long does it take to get better at singing?
How quickly you improve depends on your starting point, your consistency, and how your voice is trained. Many singers begin to feel changes within their first few lessons as new coordination are built and tension releases. Over the next few months, those changes become more stable and noticeable, and within 6–12 months, most dedicated students experience a major shift in their sound, control, and confidence – often to the point where their old voice feels unrecognisable.
How much practice is required?
Short but consistent practice tends to produce better results than occasional long sessions. Most students only need 20-30 minutes of focused practice per day for good results.
Do I need to be talented to be good at singing?
No. Singing is a trainable physical skill, much like learning an instrument or developing athletic coordination. Many vocal limitations come from habits that can be improved with the right guidance and exercises.
Is there a minimum age for joining?
While there is no strict minimum age, Playful Voice Studios is primarily designed for adult singers aged 18 and above. Students under 18 must have consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Nonetheless, We are happy to work with dedicated younger singers who are supported by their families and ready for focused, one-to-one training.
What happens after the Assessment?
Singers who are a strong fit may be invited to continue working privately with Wira.
How do I book an Assessment?
You can secure an available assessment slot directly through the website.
What will I need for my Assessment?
You will need a computer, a stable internet connection, a webcam and a microphone (built-in equipment from Apple products like MacBooks or iMacs are also acceptable). Additionally, having a quiet, comfortable space where you can sing without interruptions will enhance your learning experience.
